SINCE 1999
Originating from the strong Scots Gaelic and Irish culture of Glengarry County in Eastern Ontario, Canada, Trad and Punk Rock meet head-on, echoing the North American experience of the diaspora with a tip of the newsboy cap to the Quebec/ Maritime narrative, and the requisite lure of Boston, New York, and Chicago.
Fierce musicianship, along with acclaimed lyrics blend truth and fiction, glory and sport, love and loss, darkness, and despair, while introducing composites of individuals, companions, friends, and foes met along the musical journey. Celtic folk punk, is probably an apt characterization.
The band are into their 27th year and have toured extensively sharing stages with diverse notable names such as Flogging Molly, The Pogues, Lagwagon, The Saw Doctors, Andrew WK, Tommy Makem, The Mahones, Face to Face, Natalie MacMaster, and many more.
The band’s catalog includes five full length releases, with a sixth on the way. Still tearing up stages, still clearing the way, and still walking the walk. See ya out there!!
